Destination Wedding Planner and Event Designer

Alison Laesser-Keck is an event producer and creative director. Armed with a degree in counseling, ten years in hospitality, and another decade planning weddings, she is a quintessential "people person" and a true left brain/right brain split. In 2008, after several years in social and non-profit events, she branched out on her own to follow a dream - and the rest, as they say, is history. Alison is a California native, with strong Michigan roots, and she enjoys eating, traveling, and celebrating whenever possible.



Director of Events and Project Manager

Bryan Keck has been in hospitality since 1997, working for a James Beard award-winning restaurateur and chef in Seattle prior to joining forces with Alison in 2010. As a project manager, he's focused on the many logistics involved in making an event happen, although he's especially passionate about the relationships we're able to build with our clients and their families. Bryan is a proud Michigan native whose entire career has involved taking care of people. He loves working with his wife (his wife wrote this).

Michigan Event Designer and Coordinator

Arielle Clinthorne is an event designer and our “hands on the ground” in Michigan. With a degree in Neuroscience from University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and a passion for design, Ari is a notorious perfectionist and lover of problem-solving and creative thinking. When she isn’t working with us, she coordinates outdoor experiences for the City of Ann Arbor, where she has been for the past eleven years. She loves getting outside, traveling, entertaining, and pouring over fashion and interior design publications and blogs.

We are two people in love, doing what we love, and helping people celebrate their love.


We met in a bar - more specifically, working in a bar - fifteen years ago. We fell in love immediately and bonded over our shared passion for hospitality, adventure and travel. Together, we've called Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Chicago, Ann Arbor, and now Southern California home. When we aren't working (this is rare), you can find us on a plane headed to the next great destination on our bucket list. We've visited eighteen countries in the past 4 years, and we can't wait to see where we'll head to next. We're honored to have been named one of the best wedding planners in the world by Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle, and would be equally honored to help you celebrate.

We're not interested in mass producing a bunch of weddings that all look the same or following trends for the sake of following them, making your wedding feel dated before it even begins. No two events we produce are alike, and we prefer it. Our events are 100% custom, carefully designed and curated to celebrate you. Our inspiration and process was developed to capture who you are and what you love about life and each other. 



Gorgeous property but it's a blank slate without power, restrooms, a kitchen, infrastructure to protect from weather, etc? No problem! Hotel ballroom but it feels stuffy, boring, or impersonal? Check! No venue at all? Even better, as we can find your perfect match based on your budget and vision. You're looking to make a space beautiful and your own, and we can help you do that.



What makes a place special? Maybe you went to college there, grew up there, or perhaps you just really think it's a great place for the party of a lifetime. Many guests are visiting for the first time when they attend a wedding, and it's their vacation. We'll help you create a guest experience that is seamless, authentic and fun, showcasing what you love about the destination you chose to celebrate in.
